Chainsaw Man Wins Best Manga at Harvey Awards

The Harvey Awards, which honor excellence in manga and art, presented the Best Manga award to Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man (translated by Amanda Haley) manga on Friday. Author Fujimoto commented when his series won the award:

Thank you for this amazing award! This is the best of the awards available in the US! I thought this crude manga of mine couldn’t get any awards, but I plan on continuing to deliver the full spectrum of things I love.
If you happen to be awarded the prize again, hit me! Thanks a lot!

To receive this award, the manga had to compete with names like: Asadora! by Naoki Urasawa, Boys Run the Riot by Keito Gaku, Remina by Junji Ito and SPY x FAMILY by Tatsuya Endō.
